Today marks the birthday of Barbara Hepworth, please join us in celebrating the artist, her practice and legacy.

The New Art Centre represents the Barbara Hepworth Estate and has worked closely with the family on global exhibitions and sales programme for over two decades. Our joint aim is to increase public awareness of Hepworth’s work and legacy.

The New Art Centre frequently exhibits Hepworth’s work in our galleries and sculpture park, situated in the beautiful Wiltshire countryside. Hepworth’s desire to bring the physicality and vitality of the landscape into her work makes the presentation of her sculpture in the park particularly poignant.
