Shawcross (b.1977) is well-known for his permanent commissions that are installed across the globe, notably at Château la Coste, Le Puy-Sainte-Réparade, France; Ramsgate Royal Harbour, Ramsgate, UK; the Francis Crick Institute, London, UK; Comcast Technology Centre, Philadelphia, USA and Guo Rui Square, Beijing, China. Earlier this year, Conrad Shawcross unveiled his commission for London's Crossrail Art Programme, Manifold 5:4, which is located outside the Moorgate entrance of the Liverpool Street Elizabeth line station, London.

Solo exhibitions of Shawcross' work have been presented at Château la Coste, Le Puy-Sainte-Réparade, France (2020), Salisbury Cathedral, Salisbury, UK (2020), Wadsworth Atheneum, Hartford, Connecticut, USA (2018); Ivorypress, Madrid (2016), Dulwich Picture Gallery, London, UK (2015), Palais de Toyko, Paris, France (2013) and MUDAM, Luxenbourg (2012). 

His work resides in numerous national and international public collections including Tate, London; Zabludowicz Collection, London; British Council, London; Museum of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia; Amorepacific Museum of Art, Seoul, South Korea; Sichuan Fine Arts Institute, Chongqing, China; and the RISD Museum, Providence, Rhode Island, USA.
