David Ward

(1951-)
David Ward has exhibited internationally: He has been Visiting Artist at Harvard University, Artist in Residence at King's College, Cambridge and a research fellow at the Henry Moore Institute.


Works in relation to architecture and performance include Chorus, Royal Festival Hall; Weight & Measure, Sir John Soane's Museum; Bird Song, with Siobhan Davies Dance, Linbury Studio, Royal Opera House; Nocturne, City of London and he exhibited in Filmperformance at Modern Art Oxford.


In 2007 his exhibition Orinoco, with Richard Deacon, was held in the Orangery and Artists House at the New Art Centre. Recent exhibitions include the solo show Slow Time, Kettle's Yard (2009), and 'wavespeech', a joint exhibition with Edmund de Waal at The Pier Art Centre, Orkney (2015).
